Month 8.5

Hey Folks...Well its been a great 6 weeks for me. I'm getting around really well now and causing all sorts of mischief. I'm commando crawling and occasionally choose to crawl in the standard manner. I can pull myself up on furniture and stand by myself. I personally think I'm ready to let go but I seem to fall down if I try to do that for too long. I'm beginning to speak a bit more now and made Dad's year when I first called him Dada. I still say Mum every now and then but don't want her to get too used to it! I also say Bub sometimes. I can tell the difference between a ball and a block and will retrieve the right one when Mum asks me to (assuming I'm in the mood!).

New Learnings:
I really enjoy chewing new foods. This toast business is pretty good.

But not as good as sharing a peach with Mum!


I'm having a lot of fun with my toys...this ball is great because I can push it round the floor and chase it.


And I got a lot of toys!!! I love it when Mum tips the toy box over and I can choose which ones I want.


Reading is still a lot of fun. I like to kick back with a good book to relax.


But Hunter has to be the best toy there is. Mum keeps saying we are very lucky to have such a patient and affectionate dog.

He likes to roll around with me on the floor, which is good fun.

And he is just hysterical sometimes!





Mum and Dad put up this thing called a Christmas tree. They are all excited about this day called Christmas....not sure what its all about yet but the tree smells good and has lots of pretty decorations.

My parents have also been trying to work out how to restrain me when necessary. However, as I made clear to them I'll just take the washing basket with me!

This is why they are looking for new ways to hold me down!

But they are good parents and we all have a lot of fun together. I think I'm pretty lucky really!
